iH SHOW MODE (standalone) - setup ================================= What this is A small web app for trade shows. Photos, supplier details and notes are saved ONLY on the iPhone that took them. The app never sends data anywhere except when you press "Send to office" and pick Mail or Outlook yourself. Nothing goes to claude.ai, Anthropic or the web host. 1. Put it online once (about 2 minutes) The iPhone needs to open the app from an https address one time so it can install itself. The host only stores these app files, never your show data. Option A - Netlify Drop (free): - Go to https://app.netlify.com/drop on your Mac. - Drag the whole "show-mode" folder onto the page. - Copy the https://....netlify.app address it gives you. - Sign up (free) and "claim" the site so it doesn't expire. Option B - any web server you already have (e.g. a folder on your website) - Upload the folder's contents; it must be served over https. 2. Install on each iPhone - Open the address in Safari (not Chrome), with signal. - Tap Share, then "Add to Home Screen", then Add. - Open it from the new Home Screen icon from now on. Opened this way it works with no signal and its storage is kept separate from Safari's. 3. At the show - New show (once), then "New supplier visit" at each booth. - Add sample = take a photo; fill in item #, booth price, MOQ, case pack, our target. "Another angle" adds more photos to the same sample. - Tick "New supplier" to add contact details and a business-card photo. - Send to office = builds the PDF + Excel and opens the share sheet; choose Mail or Outlook and send to the office address. - "Send whole show" sends every booth in one PDF and one Excel. 4. Every evening: back up - Menu (top right) > "Back up this show" > Save to Files (or AirDrop to your Mac). If the phone is lost or reset, "Restore a backup" brings it all back, photos included. iOS can delete data from web apps that go unused for several weeks, so keep the backup until the show is fully processed. Updating the app later Replace the files on the host. Phones pick up the new version the next time the app is opened with signal. Saved data is not affected. In the Excel "Quote check" sheet: the office types the supplier's written quote into the yellow columns. "Quote vs booth" and "Quote vs target" fill in by themselves; red means the quote came back higher.
